Winter Break! (Jessie)

Winter Break is rolling in and everyone at Murmur Creek Farm is enjoying our bounty of snow (well at leased when we don't have to shovel it)! Two weeks ago Papa built us a platform that we can sled from. Today my brothers and I went outside after lunch and enjoyed both snow and sledding track... After a snow fall today, we have about one and a half feet! Here are some pics of our day outside...

Chickens in Winter (Jessie)

Since it was warm Saturday, we let the chickens out in the snow. I packed down trails in the snow so that they could find their hidden compost. At first they were scared to come out but eventually they filed out and happily pecked on their food.

"If you keep taking pictures of us we're going in!"

 They seem very suspicious of me!
